A cold wind drafted by as Mayonaka walked the path between villages alone. She walked long and hard through the day and would continue until the sun rose up. It was all she had left to her in this strange land where she had escaped to. She was a stranger here and could administer her sword to the dishonorable unhindered.
She pulled her white and red patterned kimono around her slim body tighter as the red and black obi at her side held her two weapons ready for battle should it come upon her. It was the kind of night where bandits and ruffians were known to strike down young women and she hoped that they would be stupid enough tonight to try and strike her down.

Returning from the Port Town to his home village, Dhampyr, hooded and draped in black garnish, slowly took in the night skies as he walked. Ahead was a slender figure, dressed in red and black clothing. Clearly, she was from someplace far away. "How exotic," Dhampyr whispered. As the two approached one another, he spoke to her, "The town you're heading to is rather dangerous. I hope you're prepared to defend yourself, dressed as you are and what not." He smiled.

“My skill and sword are more then enough to defend myself against any shadow loving thug,” Mayonaka replied with a strange accent to her voice as her small hand drifted downwards to the handle of her katana. She didn't seem to trust the new man she encounter in this land as he seemed to try to size her up. “Do not let my clothing fool you man, I am more warrior then many men in this region,” she warned him as her brown eye's shined in the pale moon light, observing the dark clad Dhamyr and not liking the smile he sported to her.
She continued walking and wouldn't let her path be paused or detoured by this man. She would welcome a chance to test her metal against this dangerous town he spoke of, and maybe himself if he were as dark as the land he described and the clothing he wore.

With a sigh, he walked onward, back to the safety of his own town. I hope she does not tread these lands lightly. She does seem fit to test this realm for herself though. I'll send with her my blessings at least.
"Pardon my manners," he stopped, " but I failed to introduce myself, "My name is Dhampyr, and I can imagine it must be hard to find friends in this strange place. If you are ever in need of help, that village over there is where I live. Mine is the house largest and the one on the edge of town. I wish you luck where you are headed. " He nodded and went on.

“Well, at least this man is not completely without manners,” Mayonaka thought to herself as he left her. “Thank you for your kindness Dhampyr, but Toturi Mayonaka does not need to rely upon luck. My blade and skill will protect me well enough this night,” she said in a voice that sang with the coldness of steel.
Mayonaka began walking once again to the port town Dhampyr spoke of. The coldness of the night threatening to cross into her kimono as she traveled under the stars. Her path was set, she would cut the filth Dhampyr spoke of out of this town.

He looked back with a smile, but was worried inside. She'll be fine in that city. It is the night that worries me the most in that place...

The stern and noble warrior woman continued through the chilling night air as she saw in the distance the faint lights of the Port Town. She kept her eyes alert as she walked, almost paranoid as she had no encounter of bandits yet as she drew nearer to her destination. She eyed the bushes and trees, expecting something to leap from them or maybe the plants themselves to animate through foul magics she heard of as a child and attack her.

Against the cold breeze he walked through the town, filled with deathly silence. He shuddered, looking out to the road and saw an approaching woman garnished in a beautifuly patterned kimono. With curiosity, he continued on and entered the Green Witch's tavern after his night stretched to a close.

The cold wind stung his face like a thousand needle's as Razel made his way silently through the stary sky. His wings were begening to get numb from the cold, so he decided to land; he spotted a town and desended. He noticed that it was a Port Town. He landed softly on his feet and folded his black wings. He strightened his white trench coat and looked up at the night sky. He was so immersed in his thoughts that he failed to notice that someone was walking toward him. He saw that it was a woman; she was wearing a white and red kimono and she bore two weapons at her side. "She's very beautiful," thought Razel. He blinked and turned to his right and walked to a tavern he had spotted when he was about to land. He entered the tavern and the smell of smoke and beer hit his nosterals. " This will be a long night," he thought.
